People: Matt Addison receives national recognition

Matt Addison, managing partner of the McDonald Carano Reno office, received his second “Lawyer of the Year” award in construction litigation from The Best Lawyers in America for the greater Reno metropolitan region.

Addison received Lawyer of the Year awards in the 2024 and 2016 editions of Best Lawyers. Addison is recognized in Best Lawyers 2024 in construction law and litigation, commercial litigation, and arbitration. He has been included in The Best Lawyers in America since 2008.

In addition to Best Lawyers, Addison has received the highest AV Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 2007 and he received first place in the “Influential Leader” category in Northern Nevada Business Weekly’s Best In Business awards in 2022 and 2023.
