People: Dani Hamilton named workforce development coordinator of Nevada Chapter Associated General Contractors

The Nevada Chapter Associated General Contractors has hired Dani Hamilton as its new workforce development coordinator.

Hamilton recently moved to Northern Nevada from Austin, where she previously worked for the Texas Chapter AGC.

She will be developing a program focusing on educating and recruiting from three areas including ready-to-work candidates – adults who are in the existing workforce and may be interested in a construction career; soon-to-work – college and high school aged young adults who will be entering the workforce in the next 3-5 years; and the future workforce – focusing on middle-and elementary school aged children to pique their interest in construction early.
