People: Makenna Backstrom joins Colliers Reno

Colliers Reno has expanded its Industrial Services Team with the addition of Makenna Backstrom.

Backstrom joins the Colliers team with more than seven years of experience in commercial real estate and specializes in representing buyers and tenants in the industrial market.

She has developed knowledge in all areas of asset management, acquisitions, leasing, and investments in Northern Nevada.

Backstrom is a native Nevadan who grew up in Reno, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and finance.

She currently sits as the chair of developing leaders for her local NAIOP chapter and is passionate about advocating for the further development in her hometown and creating education for young professionals entering the commercial real estate industry.
