The international Communicator Awards has recognized PBS Reno with a record-number nine Communicator Awards in 2023.
The accolades include the 2023 Communicator Award of Excellence: Spotlight – Extraordinary Philanthropist of the Year: The Carano Family; Wild Nevada Memories Episode 5; Classical Tahoe Episode 206: Brubeck Brothers Quartet; STEM Works: Wood Rodgers and Hamilton Medical; PBS Reno Fund-a-Need; and the 2023 Communicator Award of Distinction – Film/Video – Documentary: ARTEFFECTS Janna Ireland; Dustin Howard; and Jackie Shelton.
