People: Erin Gettel appointed to board of directors of the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center

Snell & Wilmer announced attorney Erin Gettel has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center.

Gettel is an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, she was an assistant federal public defender for the District of Nevada in the trial unit. She also served as a term law clerk to Jennifer Dorsey in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

Gettel was a recipient of the 2023 Snell & Wilmer Pro Bono Award for her contributions to advancing pro bono work, including her relationship with the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center.

Gettel is also a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the District of Nevada, through which she represents indigent defendants charged with federal crimes.
