People: Jordan Buxton joins PBS Reno

PBS Reno has hired Jordan Buxton for the role of content resource coordinator.

As PBS Reno content resource coordinator, Buxton maintains the content schedule and ensures that the necessary equipment, vehicles, licenses/permits, and staff resources are available to accommodate multiple requests for local productions.

He works with other departments and external clients in providing quotes, data, and scheduling to meet the desired production outcomes. He is also responsible for creating and assisting in keeping metadata and related production materials catalogued.

Buxton earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. During his time at UNR, he taught motion design as an instructor, documented university events as a staff photographer, and assisted with the production and post-production of several documentaries.
