BLC Builders breaks ground on Small Strides Daycare facility

BLC Builders has announced the groundbreaking of a new Small Strides Daycare facility, located at the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center, off USA Parkway in McCarran.

The new facility, which is the second Small Strides project for BLC and third location for the childcare company, will be a total of 12,415 square feet and able to accommodate more than 200 children. Features include 11 classrooms, two sleep rooms, an advanced motor skills area and two age-appropriate playground structures.

Construction consists of full wood framing, structural steel columns and beams, a decorative metal roof, two-tone stucco exterior and a wood exposure panel accent wall at the entrance. The project is scheduled to be completed spring of 2024.
