The proposed 240-megawatt solar farm from sPower would occupy about 2,154 acres of land four miles north of Lovelock and North Meridian Road.
Should the project go through, along with tax revenues, other benefits would come in the form of 300 temporary construction jobs as well as a few permanent solar farm operation and maintenance jobs.
