AARP chapter 723 in Carson elects officers

The American Association of Retired Persons Chapter 723 in Carson City has elected the following as officers for the year 2001:

President, Mary Pope; 1st Vice-president co-chairs Larry Scott and Robert Crum; 2nd Vice-president, Burnice Rhodes; Secretary, Gladys Crum; and Treasurer, Wilma Bracey Wilson.

The next meeting of the chapter will be at 1:30 p.m. Jan 24 at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr. Guest speaker is Shirley Whitcome, who will speak on elder care. Refreshments will be served.
