Obituary: Alta B. Bronzich

A service for Alta B. Bronzich, 79, a Carson City resident for the past year, will be at 1 p.m. July 22 at St. Marks Episcopal Church in King City, Calif.

Mrs. Bronzich died July 7, 2000 at Washoe Medical Center. She was born April 3, 1921, in Gorda, Calif., to Jasper and Fannie Planskett Mansfield.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in King City.

Mrs. Bronzich was a retired postmaster. She was a member of the Natives and Newcomers Club of Carson City and she was an Episcopalian.

She was preceded in death by daughters Patsy Lee Kelley and Martha Jean LaVelle and brother Byron Mansfield.

Among her survivors are her son Arden Kelley of Carson City; daughter Sharon Albee of Palm Springs, Calif.; brothers Elton Mansfield and Emil Mansfield both of San Ardo, Calif.; two sisters Jean Behnke of Los Gatos, Calif. and Leathia Slyngstad of San Jose, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
