Edwin Howard Wilson Jr., 62, a Reno resident since 1987, died Oct. 13, 2000 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Reno. No services are scheduled.
Mr. Wilson was born May 24, 1938 in Springhill, La. to Edwin Howard Wilson Sr. and Doris Pennington.
His family owned Pennington Estates in Carson City.
Mr. Wilson was a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer. In his career, he had lived all over the world.
He was affiliated with the Church of Christ in Carson City.
Among his survivors are his wife Shirley S. Wilson of Las Vegas, and daughter Kimberly Wilson of Reno.
Cremation is under the direction of Truckee Meadows Crematory.
Inurnment will be private.
Reno Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
