A memorial for Thomas Patrick Cullen Sr., 80, a Washoe City resident for the past 40 years, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 440 McClellan Dr., in Washoe C

Mr. Cullen died Dec. 20, 1999 at his residence. He was born Nov. 3, 1919 in Gainesville, Texas to William Bryan Cullen and Margaretta Unwin Cullen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie, in 1991.

Prior to living in Washoe City he resided in Texas.

Mr. Cullen was a member of the Washoe County Search and Rescue; president of Kit Carson Shriners Club; member of Mount Scott Masonic Lodge and Hella Temple Shriners of Dallas, and a member of the Kerak Temple in Reno.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mr. Cullen served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Among his survivors are his sons, Rodney of Reno, Patrick of Jackpot and Thomas Cullen Jr. of Florida; daughters, Jane Countryman of Washoe Valley and Barbara Davis of Mobile, Ala.; sisters, Theresa Addington of Arlington, Texas, and Kathleen Howard of Gainesville, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Masonic Lodge Services at Masonic Memorial Gardens Chapel, 437 Stoker Ave., Reno.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
