The Northern Nevada Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has $50,000 available for grants in breast cancer programs.
The foundation will accept grant applications beginning Thursday. The funds are targeted for local breast cancer education, screening and funding non-duplicative breast cancer outreach and treatment programs for the medically underserved.
