Obituary: Debra Gilbert

A memorial service for Debra Lorraine Gilbert, 40, of Carson City, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Walton's Chapel in Carson City.

Ms. Gilbert died Sept. 30, 1999, at her residence. She had lived in the area for the past 18 years.

She was born on Sept. 29, 1959, in Sacramento, Calif., to Leonard and Alice Henson Gilbert.

She loved the outdoors. She worked as a clerk in the accounting industry.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Leonard and Joan Gilbert, of Washington; mother and step-father, Alice and Dale Deardon, of Carson City; brothers Joe Deardon and Philip Gilbert of California, Bill Deardon of Oregon, and Ron Bowers of Texas.

Cremation will be conducted by Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's is in charge of arrangements.
