Wine aficionado and Carson City publisher Jerry Mead died Wednesday of heart failure at St. Mary's Hospice. He was 61.
Mead was editor and publisher of the Wine Trader and was a nationally syndicated columnist.
His family has planned a private service with a memorial to follow.
