A memorial for June Jane Allen, 81, a Carson City resident for the past three years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Mrs. Allen died June 27, 2000 at Carson Healthcare Center. She was born Jan. 11, 1919 in Portland, Ore. to Joseph Antone Steiner and Frieda J. Gradt Steiner. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Dayton, where she lived for 30 years, coming from Illinois, Scotland and Oregon.
She married Donald G. Allen Nov. 2, 1944 in Rolla, Mo.
Mrs. Allen was a homemaker.
Among her survivors are her husband Donald G. Allen of Carson City; son Timothy P. Allen of Peoria, Ill. and grandson Corey Allen of Peoria.
Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
