Services are Tuesday for Jess P. Hernandez, 76, a past Carson City resident of 22 years, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. He died Thursday in Las Vegas.
Mr. Hernandez was born Oct. 20, 1925 in Los Angeles.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a dry cleaner who lived in Las Vegas for 15 years after leaving Carson City.
