Orion C. Johnson, 77, a Carson City resident for the past eight years, died July 8, 2002, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital in Sparks. He was born April 28, 1925, in Kenningston, Minn., to Clarence and Melvinia Dahl Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a licensed pilot for many years. He was a member of the Blue Lodge F&AM in Huntington Beach, Calif., and the El Bekal Shrine in Anaheim, Calif.
Among his survivors are his wife of 56 years Bettie and daughter Joey Parker, both of Carson City, and cats Sissy and Whiskers.
At his request, no service will be held. There will be a private inurnment.
Neptune Society of Nevada, Reno is in charge of arrangements.
