Obituary: Goldie Warner-Manconi

Funeral services for Goldie Warner-Manconi, a 27-year resident of Silver Springs, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Silver Springs Christian Center in Silver Springs.

Mrs. Warner-Manconi died July 10, 2002, at home. She was 83. She was born Dec. 8, 1918, in Amboy, Minn., to Burt and Gertrude Skarin Loomer.

Prior to living in Nevada, she lived in Bellflower, Calif.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Lahontan Homemakers and a volunteer at the Silver Springs Senior Center. She enjoyed doing needlework, reading, gardening and playing piano, playing for the Silver Springs Christian Center Church and the Lakeview Baptist Church in Silver Springs.

She was preceded in death by a husband Herbert Warner in 1990, a son Larry Warner in 1980 and a brother Leonard Loomer in 1988 and a sister Gladys Loomer in 1992.

She is survived by her husband John Manconi of Silver Springs; a son Jim Warner of Hesperia, Calif., daughters Sherry Porter of Silver Springs and Myma Vance of Dayton; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Burial will follow services at Desert Memorial Cemetery in Silver Springs.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
