A graveside service with full military honors for Dorsey Bill Farris Jr., 86, a Stagecoach resident for the past three years, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Mr. Farris died April 24, 2003, in Stagecoach. He was born March 8, 1917, in Mead, Okla.
Before moving to Stagecoach, he was a longtime resident of Fernley.
Among his survivors are his sons Darrell of Empire and Stanley of Stagecoach; daughters Marjorie Cooper of Oregon City, Ore., and Doris Ann Quinn of Reno; brother, Joe of Fernley; sister, Wilma Maple of Durant, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
