iA memorial service for Aleandrina Rose "Alix" Pardini, 79, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington with the Rev. Paul McCollum of Holy Family Catholic Church officiating.
Ms. Pardini died Nov. 22, 2003, at Manorcare Health Service in Reno. She was born Sept. 3, 1924, in Yerington to Alessandro and Sestilia Castellani Pardini.
She attended schools in Yerington, including the old Creamery School, Mason Elementary School and Yerington High School.
After high school graduation, she became a legal secretary in the Lyon County District Attorney's Office. She also worked for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Carson City. She retired in 1986 from the law firm of Swanson and Capurro in Reno. After her retirement, she returned to live in Mason.
Among her survivors are her brothers Adalio Pardini of Mason and Angelo Pardini of Seattle; sister, Mary Rosaschi of Wellington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
