First Independent Bank broke ground last week on a 30,000-squarefoot building that will house its headquarters and Reno branch.
The office is at 5335 Kietzke Lane.
It's scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2004.
Along with the bank offices, the building will include about 8,000 of space to be leased.
First Independent Bank has leased space at McCarran Boulevard and Talbot since it opened in September 1999.
Krump Construction is the general contractor on the bank project, which was designed by Hershenow & Klippenstein Architects.
