A memorial service for David W. Packwood, 68, a Carson City resident for the past 43 years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Carson City.
Mr. Packwood died July 28, 2003, in Carson City. He was born June 12, 1935, in Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Packwood was a professional engineer and an avid pilot.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Johanna.
Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law David L. and Leslie of Glendale, Ariz., and granddaughter Kelby Packwood.
A private graveside service will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
