Timothy Moore, M.D.
has been named as chief medical officer and executive vice president of Alere Medical Inc.
of Reno.
Moore was most recently chief medical officer and senior vice president of Health Net Inc.
He also has held management positions at Humana in Louisville, Ky., at Towers Perrin in Minneapolis, Minn., and FHP in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr.
Moore is a boarded family practitioner with a M.D.
from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and a master's in administrative medicine from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
