Dawn Lewis and Meredith Tanzer have purchased La Bussola, an art and gift boutique at 211 W.
1st St.
in Reno.
They also own 2 by 2 Creations in Reno.
Lewis is a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute who has been recognized for her paintings in acrylic as well as her photography.
Tanzer worked in events planning in the Bay Area before moving to Reno.
La Bussola's gallery is currently showing more than 55 northern Nevada
artists and crafters.
In addition, the new space will offer art classes, education and monthly art exhibitions along with some non-traditional shows.
