Obituary: Agnes Bearden

Visitation for Agnes Bearden, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 34 years, will be from noon-6 p.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Bearden died Sept. 11, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Pennsylvania to George and Mary Dochenetez.

Mrs. Bearden was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Methodist Church in Carson City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar, two sisters and two brothers.

Among her survivors are her sisters Marie Conner of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Ann Bert of Dover, Del.; daughter, Deborah Bearden of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Cathy Bearden of Carson City and grandson Scott.

A private family graveside service will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
