Man arrested for exposing himself

A Carson City man was arrested Sunday for allegedly fondling himself in his back yard, then calling an elderly female neighbor over to his fence and exposing himself.

Scott Frank, 26, was booked into the Carson City Jail on charges of gross misdemeanor indecent exposure and open and gross lewdness.

According to the police report, another neighbor said Friday she was in an upstairs room at her home when she looked out her window and saw Frank in a white shirt with his shorts around his ankles fondling himself as he peeked over his fence at an 80-year-old female neighbor. She then watched him go into his East Robinson Street home.

A short time later, Frank emerged, this time with only a shirt on and carrying his shorts, the woman told police.

He again walked to the fence and called the neighbor over.

The victim told police she walked over after Frank allegedly told her he wanted to show her something. But when she saw what that something was, she "told the male neighbor she had laundry to do and quickly walked away to her residence and locked the door."

When Frank was contacted by police on Sunday, he told them he was sunbathing in the nude in his yard, got frisky but didn't expect anyone could see him, then asked his neighbor for baby oil for tanning.

"Frank stated he thought his shirt covered himself, but realizes now that it may not have," Deputy Ray Guzman wrote in his report.

Frank posted a $5,000 bail and was released.
