A memorial service for Catherine LaNore Dominguez, 29, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Ms. Dominguez died April 19, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born April 22, 1974, in San Jose, Calif., to Eloy M. Dominguez and Judy A. Coyner.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Columbia, Calif.
She graduated from Western Nevada Community College in 2002 with a degree in accounting.
She was an accounting technician for the U.S. Geological Survey. She was an avid outdoorswoman and loved to camp, fish, hunt, boat and swim. She loved people, especially children. She was a Catholic.
Among her survivors are her father of Carson City; mother and stepfather, Judy A. and Rod Coyner of Carson City; sister, Tracee A. Phenix of Carson City; brothers Guy Dominguez of Sacramento and Michael D. Coyner of Carson City; sister-in-law Tessa Dominguez of Sacramento; nephews Timothy Phenix of Carson City and Jacob Dominguez of Sacramento; and grandparents Ed and Estolia Dominguez of Columbia.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
