Golden Route expands into northern Nevada

Golden Route Operations, a subsidiary of Golden Gaming Inc., says it expanded into northern Nevada.

The Las Vegas-based company operates about 2,000 machines in 130 locations statewide.

Golden Route Operations opened an office at 9475 Double R Blvd.

and employs about 10 people in northern Nevada.

Golden Gaming, which also owns the Sparky's Sports Bar and Grill chain, the Little Waldorf and Sierra Junction in northern Nevada, plans to open a new tavern, Sierra Gold, in Reno this year.
