A memorial service for Faye Ann Tupas, 43, a Gardnerville resident for the past eight years, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tupas died Nov. 12, 2004, at her home.
She was born Oct. 30, 1961, in San Diego to Robert D. and Luella Smythe Watrous.
She was raised in San Diego and attended school there. She graduated from high school in Milpitas, Calif., and attended Mera Costa College in Oceanside, Calif., for three years.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Escondido, Calif., for eight years.
Mrs. Tupas was a homemaker.
Among her survivors are her husband, Jimmy, of Gardnerville; daughters Jennifer Blatnik, serving in the U.S. Army in South Carolina and Marilyn Blatnik of Carlsbad, Calif.; son, Jonathan Blatnik of Gardnerville; sister, Roberta Thorson of Minden; parents of Gardnerville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
