Marietta L. Gass, 73, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, died Sept. 26, 2004, in Carson City. She was born March 25, 1931, in Chicago to John L. and Harriett LuCussick.
She graduated from high school.
She married Harry E. Wilson March 30, 1952, in Chicago. He preceded her in death.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Pomona, Calif., for many years.
Mrs. Gass worked as a nurse's aide in nursing homes for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Catholic church. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Sherry Wilson of Anacortes, Wash., and Carole and Candy Espinoza of Yuma, Ariz.; sons John F. Wilson of Goleta, Calif., and Robert W. Wilson of Santa Barbara, Calif.; brother, David Gass of Washington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
