A memorial for Gary Dean Salazar, 50, a Nevada City, Calif., resident, was held in the Washington, Calif., Second Campground, On Aug. 14.
Mr. Salazar died July 26, 2005, at home. He was born Aug. 22, 1954, in Mare Island, Calif., to Vernon Salazar and Jacqueline DeLong.
He received an associate of arts degree in graphic arts. He married Rosemary Watier in Carson City.
Mr. Salazar was a graphic artist. He enjoyed listening to music, reading and playing with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1969 and his mother in 2002.
Among his survivors are his wife of Los Angeles; daughters and sons-in-law Jennifer and Lucas Moscovich of Lahaina, Hawaii, and Jessica and Jeremy Wilson of Silver Springs; son Jesse of Grass Valley, Calif.; two sisters; three brothers and five grandchildren.

Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley is in charge of arrangements.
