Weldon Deutschman, 84, a Carson City resident for the past few months, died Aug. 26, 2005, in Carson City.
She was born May 22, 1921, in Paragould, Ark., to Alfred and Dena Watson.
She held a master's degree in nursing.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Granite City, Ill.
Mrs. Deutschman was an instructor of nursing and had taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She was a member and active in her church, the Central Christian Church in Granite City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernal, in December.
Among her survivors are her son, Lawrence Schoeber of New Jersey; daughter, Beverley J. Drake of Carson City; sister, Edna Perkins of Illinois; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
No service will be held.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
