Sacramento River opens for King Salmon on July 16

The Sacramento River from 150 feet below the Lower Red Bluff (Sycamore) Boat Ramp to the Carquinez Bridge (includes Suisun Bay, Grizzly Bay and all tributary sloughs) will open on July 16 for King Salmon fishing.

That season will remain open through Dec. 31.

The limit is two King Salmon.

In addition, in that same area, there is a limit of one hatchery trout or one hatchery Steelhead trout.
