Shelly Averill has been promoted to chief financial officer of American Ready Mix Inc. in Reno, and Debbie Shadaram has been hired by the company as its controller.
Averill, a certified public accountant, previously was controller of American Ready Mix.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, she has 25 years experience in accounting and finance, including work for the Reno CPA firm of Horning, Holmberg & Co.
Shadaram previously worked as controller of Printer Essentials.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Shadaram is president of the Washoe Zephyrs Chapter of American Business Woman's Association, which selected her as its 2006-2007 Woman of the Year.
