Tornado Gold International Corp. of Reno said last week it acquired an option for 53 additional claims at its Jack Creek Property in Elko County.
The option was acquired from Gateway Gold (USA) Corp. Tornado Gold has the option to earn a 50 percent interest in the 53 claims by spending at least $500,000 on exploration of the property by 2009.
