Mike Motta has taken over ownership of Semper Firearms Training of Sparks and serves as its chief instructor.
Motta previously was an assistant firearms instructor with the company.
He served as a primary marksmanship instructor in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as a firefighter and emergency medical technician in Massachusetts before moving to Nevada in 2004.
