Wild River Grille opened at 17 S. Virginia St. on the site of the former EJ's Jazz Cafe on the Reno RiverWalk.
The restaurant is owned by Doug Holter and Chuck Shapiro and managed by Karen Priou. Holter also owns Giggles Campfire Grill in St. Paul, Minn., Shapiro is the former general manager of Zephyr Cove Resort and Lake Tahoe Cruises, and Priou was recruited from TWO (formerly Hawthorne Lane) in San Francisco.
