The 5,000-acre third phase of Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, previously known as "Bittleman Flats," has been renamed "Comstock Meadows."
"Since nobody can recall who Bittleman was or how the valley was named, we decided to give it a name more fitting to our location in Storey County," explained developer Lance Gilman.
A four-mile extension of USA Parkway, the main thoroughfare at the industrial center, has begun and will open Comstock Meadows to development.
