Xiaoliang Wang has joined Desert Research Institute as an assistant research professor in its division of atmospheric sciences.
Wang previously worked as senior staff development engineer for TSI Inc., a maker of precision instruments to measure particles.
He earned his master's and doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota.
