Rick Abend, vice president and community banking manager at Mutual of Omaha Bank in Reno, will serve as chairman of Bristlecone Family Resources in its 2009-2010 fiscal year.
Other officers include Laura Makita McDonald, who works in implementation services at eQuantum Software, vice chair; Derek Vogel, principal of Vogel Designs, secretary; and Kevin Stroupe, chief financial officer for Clark and Sullivan Construction, treasurer.
Board members include Tracy Peterson Turner, program officer at the Community Foundation of Western Nevada; Judge Bridget Robb-Peck of Washoe County District Court; and Kimberly Drake, an internal auditor for NV Energy.
