Brian Sandoval has joined the law firm of Jones Vargas in Reno in an "of counsel" role.
Sandoval previously served as U.S. district judge for Nevada. He was Nevada's attorney general before moving to the federal bench and also has served as chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission.
Sandoval earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
