Tahoe private equity fund places debt

Z Loan and Investment Inc., a private equity fund led by three residents of Zephyr Cove, raised $375,000 in a private debt offering.

The company disclosed the financing arrangement last week in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company is licensed as a mortgage lender in Nevada.

The filing listed Wayne Snyder and Michael Sigala of Zephyr Cove as the company's executive officers and promoters. John Schopf Jr. of Zephyr Cove was listed as a director.

Z Loan and Investment is headquartered in South Lake Tahoe.
