Patty Mamola, a principal at the Reno engineering firm Bowling Mamola Group, has been elected to the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
Mamola will be the first Nevadan to serve as vice president of the council.
She will serve as a regional vice president representing the 13 Western states.
