Brent D. Deems of Reno was arrested by Reno police on a misdemeanor warrant for advertising and contracting without a license.
The Nevada State Contractors Board said Deems failed to appear in court on the criminal charge of unlicensed contracting.
Other recent action by investigators for the contractors board includes:
* Michael M. Sutton, an electrician, issued a second criminal citation for contracting without a license.
* Douglas W. Sohnrey, a concrete worker, issued a criminal citation for contracting without a license.
* Jerome M. Stinson, who does business as Graphic Design & Creations LLC, issued a criminal citation for contracting without a license after he submitted a bid for house painting.
* Ted E. Kalata, who does business as Ground Up Repairs in Carson City, issued a criminal citation for contracting without a license after he submitted a bid for concrete work.
* Robert G. Swan, who advertised painting and home-repair services on a Reno bulletin board, issued a criminal citation for contracting without a license.
