Home & Garden Briefly Sept. 3

September is Can Hunger Month and the 3rd & Curry St. Farmers Market along with FISH and Ron Woods Family Resourse Center is asking for all our market customers to bring a can of pinto beans, chili con-carne or a bag of rice to be donated to the FISH pantry and any other cans goods would go to Ron Woods. If you don't bring a can but want to donate the market will accept donations too.

In order to be eligible for our market basket give-away for the next three weeks you must donate. This promotion will continue until the last market on Sept. 17.

There's only three weeks left to take advantage of all the wonderful fruit and veggies the market has to offer.

The 2011 growing season is far from over and Greenhouse Garden Center's free seminars will continue into fall.
