Ann Silver has been named chief executive officer of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.
Silver, who joined the agency in February, previously was its operations officer. She also has worked as human resources director of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.
She is a graduate of Cornell University and Notre Dame Law School.
