Monica Puffer Harte has been named artistic director of the Reno-based Nevada Opera.
Harte, the daughter of Nevada Opera founders Ted and Deena Puffer, is manager of New York's RTB, which produces contemporary operas, musicals and concerts with special programs for at-risk and special-needs children.
