St. Peter’s Church: The “Nevada Pulpit” is the name of a monthly publication issued under the supervision of the Rev. George B. Allen. Each issue will contain a sermon by a clergyman residing in the state. All the time labor and profits from the “Nevada Pulpit” will be devoted to the completion of furnishing of the new Sunday school building connected with St. Peter’s Church. Subscription price: one dollar.

Letter from the Midway Plaisance, Chicago, Oct. 31, 1893 (The World’s Columbian Exposition held to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ arrival in the New World in 1492) (Part I): Ed. Appeal: I did not find the true Midway Plaisance until yesterday. The place I had been during all the week proved to be merely one of the hucksters avenue that leads toward the fair ... I invested in a rolling chair ... They are very light and as I pushed it along ahead of me and rested my tired hands and arms on the cross bar; it gave a restful feeling.
