Missing Dayton boy found

UPDATE: Austin Walker, 8, who walked out of Sutro Elementary School in Dayton this morning, has been found.

They boy returned home on his own once school was released, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s office.

An 8-year-old boy is missing after walking out of Sutro Elementary School in Dayton this morning, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

Austin Walker left the school shortly after checking in, said Lt. Rob Hall.

“We’ve been searching for him all day,” Hall said. “We believe he’s hiding somewhere in the neighborhood. The search continues.”

Austin was last seen wearing a black shirt, khaki pants, and a baseball cap.
